Is it realistic for individuals to have 1PB of storage in large data times?

A good friend of mine has been asking me for professional advice on a book he has written. He asked me what is the cost of 1PB storage now? Is it possible for individual users to afford it? These questions are very interesting and cause me to think about these problems.
