Jobs: iphone industry has a comparable impact on Mac

The June 30 International report on the iphone's IPO the night before, Apple and At&t's two masters defended the iphone's decision to use At&t's slower edge rather than the 3G network.　　Early reviews of the iphone suggest that while the overall performance is good, slower network speeds are a problem, limiting the iphone's biggest advantage: making it easy for users to access the Internet on the way. In a telephone interview with Steve Jobs, At&t CEO Stephenson said I am not worried about the problem.　　He said the iphone offers faster Wi-Fi networks that can compensate for the lack of a slower mobile data network. Jobs and Mr Stephenson said they were not sure what was going to happen at the store in the evening of Friday.　　A long queue has already been lined up outside some stores, but it is not yet possible to determine whether the $500-600 consumer product will attract millions of customers. Mr. Jobs said Apple produced a large number of iphones, which could still be in short supply.　　Changing expectations in the consumer electronics industry is difficult, he says, because it takes a long time to produce components such as chips. ' I think it's going to be an exciting night, ' said Stephenson.　　He said At&t had recruited about 2000 new employees to cope with a possible sales spree.　　Mr. Jobs said Apple would limit each customer to only 2 iphones, while Mr Stephenson said At&t would limit the purchase of 1 iphones per customer. Concerns about the At&t network may be one of the biggest unknowns, but this has not diminished the enthusiasm of Stephenson.　　He said that in some areas there is no 3G network, if you want to sell iphone,edge in various places has become the only option. Over the past two years, At&t has spent 16 billion of billions of dollars on the web, which has been able to cope with the growing number of wireless data service users.　　' Network capacity is not a problem, ' says Stephenson. Mr. Jobs said the decision not to use at&t faster HSDPA networks was the result of balance. The edge is good, he says, but the user wants it to be faster.　　Wi-Fi technology to make up for the edge of the network speed of the slow defect. Mr. Jobs also said Apple's hardware design team decided not to use 3G chips because of the higher energy consumption.　　Apple has thus extended the iphone's battery time. He said the iphone's "multi-touch" control system was the biggest change in the computer user interface since the advent of the Mac.
