The February 25 news, Juniper Network launched on February 24 cloud based data center fabric solution--qfabric. It is reported that compared with similar products, the speed of qfabric architecture has increased nearly 10 times times, and the demand for operational resources has been reduced by 9 times times.
Juniper Network executive Vice president and Data Center Business Department General Manager P.k.anand introduced, qfabric architecture is Juniper Network data Center Network Research and Development plan "cloud plan" a result, invest in research and development funds more than 100 million dollars.
Anand, the Qfabric architecture consists of three fabric components. The qf/node is the distributed decision engine for the fabric, qf/interconnect is a high-speed transmission device, and the qf/is a public window that can be controlled as a device.
According to the introduction, compared with other competitors ' products, juniper Network qfabric architecture speed increased by nearly 10 times times, power consumption reduced by 77%, the number of network equipment required reduced 27%, data center space demand decreased by 90%, operational resources demand decreased by 9 times times.
Anand further explained that Qfabric was built on the Juniper Network "3-2-1" Data Center architecture, which simplifies the traditional three-tier network to a single, high-performance network. In other words, this product is to reduce the datacenter architecture from three to one layer to achieve direct connectivity between any two points in all network resources.
It is reported that Juniper Network qfabric the first product QFX3500 in the framework has been synchronized, and will start from this quarter to market sales.
Currently, the Qfabric product framework has been deployed on the New York Stock Exchange. Anand said that after choosing China as the first stop for product launches, Juniper will collaborate with and deploy Qfabric architecture to enterprise-level users in many areas such as finance and video.
