A British man is regretting that a "dirty hard drive" containing 7,500 Bitcoin was thrown into the dustbin just a few months ago, the Daily Mail of London reported, just as the price of a virtual currency has soared and trading prices have topped 1000 dollars. Today, these bitcoin are worth at least 7.5 million dollars, but they are in landfills.
The 28-year-old James Hauwalls is an IT worker. As early as 2009 Bitcoin was born, he began to work hard to "dig the Mine". Because his girlfriend could not bear the noise and heat from the virtual money computer, he was "out of the Wash", and at this point he had accumulated 7,500 coins.
A year later, the "mine-digging" computer broke down, Hauwalls removed most of the accessories and kept only the hard drive. The hard drive has since been put in the drawer, until this summer was sprinkled with lemon water, so Hauwalls conveniently will "dirty hard drive" thrown into the garbage bin, there is no backup of the data inside.
