Beijing Time September 20 morning (ACE) According to Reuters, Nokia Siemens Network Communications Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "NSN") released its latest mobile technology, which will ease the congestion of telecommunications networks and may change the market through the use of its equipment. The technology is said to be similar to cloud computing.

"For operators, it provides a better way to use capital." Your investment is for the entire Network load, not just in peak times. Phil Twist, head of the NSN network system marketing department, said in an interview.

Telecoms operators around the world are struggling with a shortage of internet capacity as they watch video surges using smartphones and tablet makers. These shortages usually occur during peak periods in special locations. The network in the city center is very congested and the suburban base station is rarely used during daylight hours. By using traditional technology, operators have had to buy new base stations for urban centers to cope with growing traffic.

NSN said that up to 80% of the base station processing capacity and up to 50% of the core network capacity are never used.

Change the market?

NSN removed the computational capability from the base station, one of two key traditional base station installations. The network provided by NSN will share computing power across all base stations.

This is the first step for telecoms equipment manufacturers who use standard servers and have relied on proprietary equipment to get high profits.

NSN new network software to provide most of the functionality required by the network will reduce the need for dedicated equipment.

This has challenged the market leader, Ericsson, and Huawei and ZTE, China's rival, which is sweeping the market with cheap and powerful proprietary hardware.

In recent years, Ericsson and Chinese companies have exerted great pressure on NSN and Alcatel-Lucent (hereinafter referred to as "rung"). The latter two are struggling to make a profit, and have been forced to seek a breakthrough technology to develop the next leading competitor.

NSN says it has started delivering its latest mobile technology products. Rival Rung has also launched a rival base-station product. But the company plans to start its first deliveries next year.
