So far, machines have made http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/32533.html "> Our lives better, and they recommend better reading, better food and better friends." Behind this, some of the methods that provide these services are becoming automated.

A recent article published by Data Center knowledge envisions several steps for automating operations within the datacenter. Robots can move higher than human racks on the ground and are safe, meaning that data center builders can build higher buildings to reduce the footprint of the data center, which will make the data center more efficient in the ground space.

If the robot takes over all the work in the data center, the lighting may also become unnecessary. In this way, a cost can be canceled from the budget. Deploying robots can also lead to less downtime because they do not produce errors when replacing servers or other hardware components, and are more confident than humans do.

Using robots to maintain devices "becomes quite feasible", the article says, and Google has used robots to get backup storage disks. But since most devices are not really handled by machines at the moment, this new area may require some modification to be widely used.

The article also mentions an unattended data center, one of which is the data center that AOL operates. Apple said it plans to build an unguarded facility in Prineville last year in Oregon State. As more companies move in this direction, the cost of building unattended data centers will fall, leading to a further spread of the market.

Still, this article says the data center will still need administrators, so today's data center staff are not going to lose their jobs because the wave of automation is still evolving.

At the same time, data center administrators also optimize facilities by altering the use cases of hardware and software matching. VMware CEO Pat Gelsinger will talk about his software definition data center vision at the GigaOM Architecture Conference in San Francisco June 19, and AMD's general manager and vice president Andrew Feldman will talk about what businesses need to automate data centers.

These types of upgrades, although initial capital expenditures may be high, can split the operating costs between the public, private and mixed cloud providers, resulting in savings for customers.
