Although "cloud computing" has a similar concept with past history, but also has some new ideas, and these ideas have a new era of significance, but also to the design of some impact.

The core idea of cloud computing is to put the focus of computing on the cloud.

What is "cloud" is the end of the cloud. In the field of the network, the pattern of the cloud is often used to represent the Internet, so the term "cloud computing" is a computational form that represents the use of computational resources through the Internet.

If we only abstract the station from this point of view, it is from the historical context can be understood that this method of calculation is long before, is that people have used the model.

But today's cloud computing, there are some new elements in it, not necessarily new technologies or ideas, which may have been in the past in the literature or in the study, but now the term "cloud computing" brings together the concepts needed to form a whole idea.

We are in a time of continuous networking.

Why at this stage will computing be put on the cloud and become a trend again?

One important key is the prevalence of mobile devices. These mobile devices, like smart phones, tablet computers, small pens and so on, although the computational power is still far superior to the former desktop computers, but compared to today's personal computer is still a computational power weak computing device, which makes such a large number of devices on such a heavy calculation is not appropriate.

At the same time, due to the increasing popularity of wireless regional networks, coupled with the more and more complete 3G network infrastructure, this constitutes an important prerequisite--the device almost always can handle the state of networking. In this way, mobile devices with weaker computational power have become a logical choice through network access to computing resources.

In addition, because most users switch between different devices, such as working with a notebook computer in the office, and then after leaving the office, they may also be able to read e-mail through the smart phone on their hands, or use real-time access software to exchange messages with colleagues and friends. When you get home, you may also open a tablet computer like the ipad, reading in the living room, surfing the Internet, and replying to emails. Since each user may use multiple devices to handle the transaction, the user will want to be able to handle the same set of data (e-mail, or its own accounting trial form) on these different devices.

In order to avoid the trouble of data synchronization and problems, the data, as well as the calculation of the data operations in the cloud, also became a very natural idea.

Cloud computing is not the salvation of all applications, and from the above description it is not hard to see what application types are designed to benefit from the idea of cloud computing.
