In April this year, Acer briefly unveiled its first wearable device, Liquid leap, and in the run-up to Computex 2014, Acer released 5 smartphones and 1 tablets in a breath, and brought more information about Liquid leap.
While Acer calls Liquid leap a smart watch, it appears from the picture that the device looks more like a smart wrist strap. Acer says Liquid Leap can track users ' fitness activities-including walking, distance and calorie consumption-and sleep cycles, alerting incoming calls and text messages to mobile phones, and controlling music playback.
Liquid Leap has a 1-inch touch screen with a IPX7 waterproof rating so users don't have to take them off while bathing or swimming. The equipment has a number of different colors, the maximum duration of up to 7 days.
Acer revealed that Liquid Leap is expected to list in the three quarter this year, but the device's compatibility (whether it supports Acer's handsets) and price information is not yet available.
