The Open Group publishes two new industry standards, integrating the basic elements of service-oriented architecture (SOA) and cloud computing into Enterprise Architecture (EA) scenarios. The new standards are: SOA Reference Architecture (SOA RA) and service-oriented cloud computing infrastructure (SOCCI).

The Open organization Service Integration Maturity Model (OSIMM) update has been released by the Open Group, and now OSIMM has been recognized as an ISO and IEC (ISO/IEC 166880) International standard. OSIMM provides an organization with a common model of development paths to achieve the right level of service to meet business objectives.

ROA Ra is the blueprint for creating and evaluating SOA solutions, and Socci is the Open group Cloud Standard that describes the conceptual and architectural blocks necessary to support the SOA and cloud planning infrastructure. "In today's global competitive marketplace, adjustment operations and it drivers are mandatory," said Chris Harding, director of work in collaboration with the Open group. "The three standards are vendor neutral and help organizations of any size design and implement appropriate SOA and cloud approaches to achieve their business objectives." ”

SOA RA is an industrial standard Reference architecture for developing SOA scenarios. With the SOA RA standards, Enterprise architectures will use common language and methods to create SOA solutions to meet the needs of different organizations and bridge the gap between business and it.

Socci is the industry's first cloud standard for businesses that want to provide infrastructure services in the cloud and SOA. Socci is developed by the Open Groupsoa and cloud workgroup to enable service based components for SOA solutions and cloud implementations. This standard provides an organization to work together through SOA and cloud Foundation principles, detailing a set of common Socci components and management architecture blocks, leveraging Socci, which enables organizations to combine cloud infrastructure resources and services in their infrastructure, enhance flexibility and scope, and reduce maintenance costs.

Proven Best Practices

OSIMM leverages proven best practices to enable consultants and it practitioners to assess the organization's standby status and maturity in leveraging services in an SOA scenario. By aligning business objectives and evaluating related SOA services, it practitioners can create detailed roadmaps that combine SOA services and cloud computing solutions in the enterprise. Based on the recent endorsement of OSIMM 2.0 by ISO and IEC, global organizations have an extensible architecture that understands the value of implementing service models and the comprehensive guidance needed to achieve the service maturity required.

The SOA RA technical standards, Socci architecture, and OSIMM 2.0 international standards can be downloaded from the Open Group bookstore. In addition to standard news, the open group will carve out a Los Angeles conference on January 30 to focus on the role of it and EA in enterprise reform. Will explore the following topics:

What is the difference between EA and Enterprise reform and how are they interconnected?
• Use EA to promote enterprise reform
• How to use EA to build a foundation for enterprise reform that the Commission and the operating manager can understand and use.
• How does EA promote reform in it, and how does this reform support overall enterprise reform?
EA How to help companies adopt "breakthrough technology", similar to cloud computing and ubiquitous mobile access.

The conference spokesperson is Andy Mulholland, the world's leading technical officer and deputy Director of corporate Gemini. Andy was named by InfoWorld as one of the top 25 most influential CTO in the world in 2009. In 2010, its CTO blog was selected by the computer as the Managing director and CIO's Best blog. Andy recently attended Briefingsdirect podcast, where he spoke about the upcoming Gemini White paper, describing the cloud's differences between it and business, and studying the complex two-way relationship between the two. Director of Jeanne Ross, mit Information Systems Research Center and chief research scientist. Jeanne through the realization of digital platform and repeated use of the enterprise to study how to create competitive advantages.

Jeanne recently told me how to use EA for greater efficiency and flexibility, and explain how the enterprise architecture can help smooth business transitions.

The spokesman also has Joseph Menn, Financial Times cyber security journalist, fatal error: Cyber-crime tracker author. Joe has reported security for the FT and the Los Angeles Times since 1999. Fatal error is its third book, and he also has all the rave:the Rise and Fall of Shawn Fanning ' Napster.
