Regardless of the current situation in the U.S. economy, job hunting is always stressful. In the past, I've been trying to help people by offering to burnish your resume and successfully pass the interview skills.

Almost without exception, you never really know why you didn't get a specific job. You may have been through the phone interview and face-to-face meetings, only a few days later received a call from human resources, said you did not get a job opportunity. Recently, however, the "Geek Job search Tips" blog lists the most common causes of people's missed job opportunities-except for those that do not qualify for a job search.

This list is the golden wisdom of job-hunting. After all, assuming you're not an important candidate, here are a few things to consider when adjusting your interview style and the way you answer your interview questions. Does this content interest you?

You have a wide range but a superficial loss. According to your experience, you may portray yourself as a "man who knows everything but nothing." There is no chance to be prepared for a mere armchair.

You seem to have a sense of entitlement. Be humble about everything. This has a real and practical effect. For example, do not leave a hiring manager or any peer interviewer with the impression that you are only willing to work in a particular technical area that you are familiar with, or that you have difficulty working with.

You didn't show any enthusiasm. Be passionate, not only about what you do, but also about the job you're interviewing for. Bosses don't want to hire people who are just trying to get paid, and they want to find people who invest in their careers and companies.

You don't know how other parts of your company work. It is important to understand the whole process of making sausages. If you are asked about a process that is relevant to your boss, but you have no direct contact, and you only say "I don't know", then you will not be hired-even if you are knowledgeable in a particular field. There is a lot of collaboration in today's companies, and bosses expect you to at least understand the basic tasks of other people so that you can work with them.

Your experience is not transferable. You may be great, but if you stay in a position or company for a long time, your knowledge, skills or experience may not be transferred to a new company without quite a lot of retraining. If you are in this situation, take the time to prepare in advance so that you can answer this question.
