This is the fourth blog about the new features of Windows Http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/13357.html ">azure and the second part of the Windows Azure Web site. But this is not just about waws, because the feature I'm about to present is available in both Windows Azure Web sites and Windows Azure cloud services (also known as managed services). In the previous post I mentioned to Windows Azure Web site and how to write code, using its libraries to create a wrodpress personal blog. In addition, we can create an empty website in different ways, upload our website to the library. One of the salient features is that we can integrate our web site with a source control service such as TFS and git so that it can be deployed automatically once a new transaction commits or builds successfully.
Create a new empty Web site
In the developer Portal as we create a new empty site, we can choose to quickly create items. This will create an empty Web site with only one shared instance and no database associated. Let's specify the URL, region, and subscription, and then click OK.
In a few seconds our website is ready. Now we can click on the Browse button to open this empty site.
You can see there is a welcome page on my site, even if I haven't uploaded or deployed anything.
This means that even before any project is deployed, the site will be charged, which is somewhat similar to the cloud Service (hosting service). This is because once we create a Web site, the Windows Azure platform arranges a managed process (w3wp.exe) on the virtual cluster.
