Recently, I have dealt with the problem that the home page is locked when a new Ghost system is installed.
The locking method of the IE homepage is different from that of the past. The following is an example:
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTCLSID {871c5316-42a0-1069-a2ea-08002b30309d} shellOpenHomePageCommand]
Enter the page you want to lock behind the default data, for example:
C: Program FilesInternet unzip eriexplore.exe www.2cto.com
(Note: add data as the website domain name or website address. www.2cto.com is only an example .)
Solution:
Use the Registry Editor to restore the default data. For Windows XP operating systems that are not familiar with the Registry, you can try the "System exception Repair Tool.
Note: This tool can fix system exceptions caused by most of the currently popular viruses and will be constantly updated as needed. This tool does not process viruses and only supports Windows XP. It is generally used as an auxiliary Repair Tool after manual antivirus. It is still in the beta version. Please read the disclaimer after running the tool and try again.
