How to choose SEO long tail keywords

The Long Tail Keyword is based on the long tail theory. It refers to the keywords with a small number of popular keyword searches. The popular keywords include two aspects. It is considered that the long tail keyword is a combination or short sentence with many words, in the SEO field, Baidu-related search methods are widely used to search for long tail keywords, which further proves that the long tail is indeed relatively long ", because Baidu-related search must be longer than your search term. But in fact, to understand the "long tail", we should start with the distribution form of the long tail theoretical diagram, so we will not think that the long tail is related to the word count.

The keyword search volume has an absolute number, which can be learned through the Baidu Index. However, for your website, the keyword popularity is opposite to the keyword popularity. Unfortunately, this extremely popular keyword has become an uncommon long tail keyword on your website for thousands of years.

Information asymmetry

Fundamentally speaking, SEO aims to find the people we need by optimizing the website. The search engine aims to help users find the websites they need through certain crawling and indexing rules. However, the current situation for users to use search engines is that they need to search many times and constantly modify and expand search keywords to find the websites they need. Most of the results pages returned by the search engine to users cannot be completely matched in terms. The form of unmatching is that keywords are mixed in other words, which is not closely related to your expectation. In many cases, users may feel that they cannot be searched.

In terms of websites, I spent a lot of energy on the so-called popular keywords, but some of them were almost helpless in dealing with personalized user search. They could have captured these long tail keywords and easily achieved the ranking of uncommon keywords to meet diversified user needs, however, these users passed by because they got into the dead end of popular keywords. This is information asymmetry.

Search engines like you to make these many uncommon long-tail keywords to solve users' needs, so that users do not have to search multiple times to find what they want. They are not happy to be crowded on popular keywords, which easily induces keywords to pile up, causing fraud, greatly reducing the user experience.

How to Select long tail keywords

The Long Tail Keyword is a keyword with a small search volume compared to your website. It has nothing to do with the length of words, and a large number of long tail words are very short. Check the website background keyword statistics. These long tail keywords are also your users (the user who searched for "Liu dehua" on the washing machine I mentioned earlier does not count. You shouldn't have put Liu Dehua's content either, I just give an example to illustrate the relativity of popular buzzwords ). They constitute the vast majority of website visitors.

It is unrealistic to optimize the number of keywords with a long tail.

SEO is widely used in search engines or on competitor websites. This is one of the methods, but the number and imagination of long-tail words in search engine-related searches are very limited. Using this method, we can find 20 top-notch keywords. Searching for a competitor's website is even more problematic. As long as it has been slightly optimized, a competitor and another competitor's website have very high keywords, because their method of searching for long-tail words is basically the same as what you can first think of from search engine-related searches or competitors. The website I used this method to find no more than 30 long-tail words, but the website may require more than 3000 long-tail words to be optimized.

In fact, the above method is just in sight. It is easy to find some rules by observing the keyword statistical table. We do not need to optimize long tail words based on the keyword Statistical Table. Instead, we need to find the common aspect and effectively summarize them. From the statistical table, in addition to the core keywords, 2 ~ 3. The keywords of the number of visitors at least indicate that 2 to 3 users share the same idea when entering exactly the same words during the search, which leads to the concept of "group, it proves that although the word is a long tail, it has a common demand. The value of this long tail word can be selected in search.

Whether to select 2 or 3 or a larger number is determined by the number of visitor keywords on the website. If the traffic of the core keyword is huge, and the daily search volume may be 1000, there are dozens of pages in the range from 990 to 100, then you can choose more than 900. This is relative.
