Today I saw an article that I agree. There are indeed a few talented people with a low degree of education. A good university is a kind of ability.
Academic qualifications are the best way to test your abilities as quickly as possible. You cannot allow the interviewer to understand all your experiences in a short period of time.
There is no reason for the existence of the Imperial Examination policy for thousands of years. I also strongly support our college entrance examination policy. Of course, the college entrance examination is indeed unfair in the region, but it is fair to a large extent. If we do not have a college entrance examination, how can we compete for the second generation? Can you find any better way than the college entrance examination? If the college entrance examination is canceled, who is unlucky?
The following is my article:
I wanted to write a blog related to this for a long time. The original subtitle should be "not partial summary". Today I saw a discussion about the degree in csdn, and I simply used my degree as the subtitle.
The degree discussion in csdn is similar to the monthly post, but it is not as frequent as the language competition. Generally, I seldom participate in such discussions, because it is difficult to clarify my point of view in a few words. At most, I cannot express my objection when comparing Bill Gates and Zuckerberg.
Bill Gates and Zuckerberg did drop out of school, but they do not succeed because they do not have a degree. Because Bill Gates has no degree to succeed, can you succeed without a degree? This logic itself is wrong. People are computer prodigy from an early age and can write very good programs very early. It is not comparable to most of us. In addition, Bill Gates, including Zuckerberg, do not have the same degree of education. They are senior students of Harvard, and do not have the same degree of education to start a business. In comparison with China, you have to be able to compare it with other people in China.
There's not much to say about Bill Gates and Zuckerberg. They are basically not comparable to ordinary people. In other words, even if someone else's head is beheaded by an apple, they can come up with 10 thousand Law of Gravity. Most people's heads are beheaded by an apple. In addition to more than one bag, there is basically nothing else, it is also very likely that you become more stupid.
Back to education and ability, many people usually like to use a question: Which is more important? The answer to this question is actually very simple. Of course, the ability is more important. After all, do work depend on the ability. Almost no one dares to answer the question that education is more important. It is a stepping stone to say that education is also important. This question is actually a trap and seems to prove that academic qualifications are useless. After thinking for a long time, I didn't seem to find a more appropriate analogy sentence. I thought of a few things that might not be so appropriate. For example, "is the level 1 A Mandarin certificate important or is Mandarin more standard important? ", "Is it important for tennis players to rank in the world or their own strengths ?", "Is the certificate of a top-level chef more important ?", "Is three meals a day important or is it important to supplement nutrition ?"
The reason for this question is a trap, because it first sets the ability to compete with the degree of education. What is education level? Your degree actually represents your learning experience. Obtaining a degree means that you have received an education and the expected abilities of your degree. We cannot say that we must be able to work in the future with a degree. There are always some people with exceptions (just as Bill Gates is an exception in another direction), but in general, if you have a certain degree, you have the ability to do a good job. At least you have the basic ability to do a good job, and you can be competent through further study. Some people who say that their academic qualifications are useless often say that their academic qualifications are a piece of paper, which is equivalent to the efforts of many people for four, five, six or more years. If their academic qualifications are really that simple, the country is still working on so many schools and teachers. It is not enough to gather a few certificates.
The HR staff of all companies and enterprises are not dummies. In that case, when we face the reality-who are you talking about? Why do HR staff have to look at their education qualifications? In fact, like fishermen fishing, fish are everywhere in the sea. Why do fishermen go to a specific place to fish? Because fishermen are targeted at fishing, they are basically certain about what fish to catch in the sea, and there will be a lot of fish at a specific place or even in a specific depth at a specific time, it is easier to catch the desired fish. This is also true for the case of HR education. Let's take a few figures as an example. For example, 80% of undergraduates in some positions are competent, while only 8% of junior students are competent, if you want to recruit 8 students, are you willing to interview 10 undergraduates or 100 junior students? Of course, the actual situation may be much more complicated, and the cost of wages should also be considered. Therefore, it is not necessary to limit the possibility of being competent for graduate or doctoral students, but in general, everyone is willing to search for the talents they need more easily. If you do not have a degree, Can you do not have a major limit? Many recruitment courses are based on the word "Bachelor degree in computer science". Do people who believe that their academic qualifications are unimportant also think that their majors are unimportant? Some people are not computer professionals who have a certain level of computer knowledge. So is the recruitment condition changed to no limitation on professional or academic qualifications to take care of the feelings of this small group of people? This is obviously not suitable.
My point is clear that most undergraduate students are more competent than most junior students, and most computer students have a higher computer level than most non-computer students. This is my point of view. You cannot prove that your bachelor's degree is useless because you have graduated from a specialist and are well-mixed or technically powerful, because it is just an example. Of course, I mean to do the average level of the corresponding major, because all undergraduates and junior college students cannot see the difference if they do plus or minus 10. Even undergraduate students, one book is different from the other book. In general, these schools are better than other schools. The college students in our factory have two or more books, and the treatment is of course the same, but there is still a difference in working. I don't feel very deeply. I have one copy with my younger brother. I used to bring two disciples (even an apprentice, because I have a clear master, however, our colleagues who entered the organization often followed the work, not to mention mentoring. Many times we prefer to call our apprentices younger than our masters, who are called the bosses of these people ), one is very steadfast, and the other is very impetuous. Coincidentally, both of them are from XXXX College (most of the college students in our factory come from this school ), I don't expect these two people to be able to reach or exceed the level of my teacher and I, as long as they can complete the professional work. That very steadfast apprentice has been working with me for more than half a year. There is a transfer opportunity. We originally wanted our deputy chief to go to that department. The deputy chief was assigned a position, I didn't go there, so I was about to call it. I am very inert and unwilling to do anything. In contrast, I still like my major, so I didn't go either, but that place was really good-at least everyone thought it was good, so I recommended my apprentice. Another very impetuous apprentice has been working for more than two years and finally quit. He has been working with me for more than two years and should say that he has not learned much about his professional knowledge, he didn't even really study a drawing, but I think I have a great influence on him. We should be good friends. Although I always criticize him professionally, he asked me more than once whether he had a future. I told him directly that you are not suitable to do it here, not a technician, and then switched to Shenyang, now I am working as a logistics manager, at least doing well. It seems to be out of order. Pull it back. As I mentioned earlier, the difference between the second book and the second book is not very deep, because if you are only dealing with professional jobs, you can say that you can also cope with this after graduation. However, when chatting with the leaders of workers and other workshops several times, they found that the technicians in their eyes were obviously different, they are very appreciative of these technicians who graduated from a university in Heilongjiang. In their words, xxx's college student level is good, XX's college student level is really not good. Once you hear this, you can think of it as a personal opinion, but when many workers and leaders of other organizations say this, you have to think about it, I will ask them why they say that the XXXX college students are not good. They will give a lot of practical examples to illustrate.
Let's take a look at the top figures in every major in our school. Almost all of them are graduates. Only one person graduated from a specialist and became the master of the major with his own efforts and practice, this just shows the reality-education doesn't mean everything, but education represents a majority. A person with a low degree of education can do better than a person with a high degree of education, but few people can do this-most of us do not belong to this minority.
Similarly, many people will criticize China's education system. Yes, I also think that China's education system is imperfect, but I always feel that even if China's education system is perfected, the vast majority of the people who can earn various degrees in college are still the current ones, but the overall level of everyone may have increased. Just like the past imperial examinations, even the eight documents that we have been so arrogant about today have also selected many outstanding talents.
Neither the College Entrance Examination selection nor enterprise recruitment can precisely screen out all qualified students or talents. It is good to screen out most qualified talents. Don't blame anything. Gold will always shine. Even if you have a low degree of education, as long as you really have the ability, you will surely break into your own world, however, it may take a little more effort-and there is no imbalance-to pay off the debt when I was studying. If the light has never been shining, do not blame the environment first. Check whether you are gold. Besides, there are many gold-plated items in the past.
It's still a bit messy. In fact, I am not HR either. I have never paid too much attention to my degree. I came to our department with my colleagues and friends. If I really have a level of proficiency, I have to look at my work. But imagine that if I were a chief or director, I would also give priority to people with higher education qualifications when selecting new employees. As an enterprise or a department, there is not so much effort to test whether it is really capable. Picking out a few nonconformities from a group is much easier and cheaper than picking out a few nonconformities from the group.
Those who recognize highly educated people, but who do not blindly recognize a high degree of education, admit that they have a low degree of education, but do not admit that a low degree of education is a ox.
Looking at the individual, everything is possible, but it cannot represent or deny the whole group because of one or a few individuals.
