1. Syntax Highlighter for Windows Live Writer

This is a simple plugin for Windows Live Writer that enables a user to insert highlighted source code, it is based on Wilco Bauwer's Syntax Highlighter

Test: Chinese characters are not supported.

Flickr4Writer isSimplePlugin for Windows Live Writer that enables a user to browse a Flickr user repository and insert an image from Flickr into a Writer post.

3. SnagIt Screen Capture plugin for Windows Live Writer

Screen captures are important when blogging and having an easy way to capture images from the screen and embedding them into a blog entry is a key feature.
This plug in lets you capture screen shots using the popular SnagIt utility from Techsmith Corporation which is a cheap (but not free) and powerful utility that allows define useful capture and editing options on image captures.
This plug integrates SnagIt directly into Microsoft's Windows Live Writer blogging client software and provides these features:

• Captures screen shots with history of nagIt's options
• Lets you utilize the nagIt image editor for customizing captures
• Embeds captured images directly into Blog posts
• Gives you the choice of whether images are saved locally or not
• Persists capture settings between captures
• Available with C # source code
