Students occasionally gather together, because they graduated from the GIS Major and discussed the prospect of the 3 s industry. This is an ambitious topic. I have not been engaged in GIS development for more than two years, and I am not an authority in GIS. Even so, I am willing to summarize some of my previous intermittent ideas in the fields I know to serve as an example.

In terms of its ideological roots, I believe that the ancient Chinese human dream of "Shunfeng ears", "leeching eyes", and "God-running Taibao" will not change (just as why humans should go to the moon, there are certainly many reasons for political, economic, and comprehensive national strength analysis, but we won't leave it alone: landing on the moon is a dream of mankind, which can be seen from mythical stories ). 3 S is a powerful means to achieve "Shunfeng ears", "Eyes of a thousand miles", and "shenxing Taibao. Therefore, from the perspective of human dream, we can look at the 3 s industry.

Now I will talk about the space information service I know a little about and the prospect of remote sensing image interpretation I am familiar. When it comes to spatial information services, many people think: Isn't it just the navigation service? In fact, just from the navigation service will narrow the market. In the future of spatial information services, we need to explore the market, segment the market, and establish profit models. In fact, many people are pushing their efforts to Vehicle Navigation and mobile phone navigation, which leads to fierce competition in this market. But have you ever wondered whether this market can be subdivided? For example, in the age of aging, what are the demands of the elderly for positioning services? Are they the same as adults; for example, do you want to locate a service for a pet? For example, do vehicles with hazardous chemicals need positioning services? Do vehicles with money transport need positioning services? For example, how to integrate with portable consumer electronic products ?...... Another idea is that in the robot age, do robots need navigation ?...... My imagination is limited, so you can think more. I always think of a story like this: Two salesmen sell shoes on the same island. When a salesman sees no shoes on the island, he leaves. Salesman B finds that this is a good opportunity to sell shoes. He vigorously promoted the benefits of shoes to people on the island. As a result, all the people on the island put on Shoes sold by salesman B after a while. This story tells us that the market is often hidden and needs to be mined. In an era of personalization, recognizing this is especially important.

Of course, not all people agree on the price of "Shoes. Locating a service is also a type of advanced consumption. However, as long as the price is appropriate, consumers will still accept it. As far as I know, the positioning service is currently in a profit model that cooperates with China Mobile and China Unicom for value-added services. This model is likely to result in the insertion of space information services by mobile and Unicom, resulting in two monopolized systems, which is not conducive to the formation of a competitive market. In this regard, countries need to consider developing appropriate policies in the long run to promote the maturity of this market. To avoid the intrusion of Mobile and China Unicom, one of my ideas is to bundle consumer electronic devices for sales, develop stand-alone software, and regularly ask consumers to update map data, of course, this depends on the storage capacity of the consumer electronic devices and the processor speed. Based on the current hardware development speed, we can remain optimistic.

Second, I would like to talk about the prospect of Remote Sensing Interpretation. I talked to a company expert about remote sensing in three ways: high-resolution remote sensing, radar remote sensing, and high-Spectral Remote Sensing. Remote Sensing Interpretation is a type of hyperspectral remote sensing. I am ashamed to say that remote sensing was originally a 3 s elder brother. However, the recent rapid development of GIS and GPS has outstripped myself. The reason is that remote sensing has not yet found a good way to achieve civil application, more importantly, many people have the impression that remote sensing is the tool of a lab. It's okay to lie to the country and cheat everyone. In fact, I don't know whether we noticed that the trend of human pursuit of information is becoming more and more accurate. In an information explosion era, what humans desire is that all the information they need is what they need. This requires the information industry to perform fine-grained information processing. Specific to remote sensing, images are precisely processed using data mining methods (currently many data mining methods are also confusing, mainly because there are too many initialization conditions and human intervention is serious, that is, if you set a condition that has no reason, the processing result is unpredictable and the repeatability is poor ). Two problems that need to be overcome in Remote Sensing: qualitative and quantitative, that is, how to analyze what is (water or vegetation) and how much is there through image interpretation; and repeatability, according to the same steps, the results of each interpretation are basically the same. Now I am participating in a national 863 Project (which is something that everyone is more serious about). I have studied the use of remote sensing for prospecting, and I have seen a little bit of hope in this regard, although there is still a gap from practical use. R & D in Remote Sensing needs to be supported by the State. I personally feel that the country has a major problem in Remote Sensing investment. The specific manifestation is that repeated construction is serious: A satellite goes up and a set of information systems and image processing systems are repeated, in fact, these systems are not technically advanced and can be reused. In fact, the State should focus on supporting the future of Remote Sensing Interpretation, because the commanding heights in this field are not owned by me, but by outsiders. On the other hand, the State is engaged in scientific research projects (such as 863 projects) there are also serious problems. There is a lack of sustained investment in promising projects, resulting in a little achievement in the early stage, and the subsequent support cannot keep up. The final achievement is only in the laboratory and has not been converted to actual productivity.

Let me talk about the Remote Sensing Interpretation market. There is no market in the eyes of many people. The market is not comparable to GIS, but it does not mean that the market cannot be expanded. Taking remote sensing prospecting as an example, if we do a good job, how many mining bureaus in China can even be exported to foreign countries? New mining areas can be used, and old mining areas can also be used. China can do this, foreign countries can also be found; land can be found, the ocean can be found? A little farther away, the Earth can look for it. Can it look for an external planet? Of course, considering the special software market in China, selling software is still unreliable. Remote Sensing Interpretation is full of expert experience. I imagine two profit models: software is cheap or free at first, But software training is charged. Second, image processing services are provided, this kind of processing is no longer a rough process, and is full of expert experience. For example, the user provides an original image, which extracts the mineral information and finally delivers the result map to the user.

Another future of remote sensing is the synthesis and collaboration of 3 s. I often think about this problem: the advantage of GIS is spatial analysis. The advantage of RS is that the Raster image is clear and easy to interpret. How can we combine vectors on the Raster image for comprehensive data analysis?
