In addition to the searcheverything computer internal full-disk search, if you want to search the contents of the file, there is no way. Window built-in Indexing Service comes in handy, so good service, the default setting is actually closed, do not want to pass.
The following describes how to turn on and use the Indexing Service built into Windows.
1. Open the Indexing Service for Windows
Control Panel-turn on or off Windows features-turn on indexing service--> Click OK
2. Configure indexing Options
Control Panel---> Indexing options---> Advanced options---> File types---> select Add index for properties and file contents
3. Add an index location
Add your directory of relevant electronic data to the index directory, in order to speed up the index, some unnecessary index directory removed, only the directory of their own care.
4. Later, when you need to search this folder for the content specified in the full text, just go to the directory where the ebook is stored, and then enter the keyword in the search input box in the upper right corner to see the search results. Or just press the Windows key and enter the keywords you want to search to get results immediately.
Use tips:
If you want to retrieve the contents of the PDF type file, you need to download additional plugins, click Foxit PDF ifilter Download plugin, after installation to correctly retrieve the relevant content.
Disadvantage: You can only provide a static digest (a specified length of bytes at the beginning of the document) and cannot generate a dynamic digest.
TXT, HTML, Office files, and other formats are supported by default, and you need to download the appropriate filter if you need to support additional files.
Advantage: Indexes can be updated automatically when the indexed file directory changes.
