Here we announce that unity will be built with the popular skeleton animation plugin anima2d, free for all unity developers since January 2017! Also welcome the plugin author Sergi Valls with this powerful plugin to join our professional 2D team.

We are committed to making game development popular, and anima2d will be a key part of unity's effort to improve the Toolset and workflow for developers focused on 2D content. anima2d Function Introduction
ANIMA2D is the most complete 2D skeletal animation solution in Unity 5.x, which allows you to create 2D skin characters and backgrounds directly in the Unity editor. Anima2d joins the 2D skeleton hierarchy, powerful sprite mesh editor, and 2D Inverse dynamics (IK) to seamlessly integrate with the Unity editor.

ANIMA2D provides a handy component to create 2D bones, and set the node level of each bone, and only drag and drop to complete the position and rotation settings of all bones.
