"Sadie Network News" September 3, according to market research company NET Applications September 1 data showed that the number of Windows 8 users in August than Vista released after a certain period of time the number of users. Net applications said that the proportion of Windows 8 users to all installed Windows PC in August grew to 8.4%, with a growth of 2.5% per cent in August and one months, up from a record high of June. Vista is widely seen as a failure of Microsoft, which accounts for 7.3% of all Windows installed since January 2007, 10 months after its release. Net applications, in November 2007, used a new method of measuring data by country, trying to produce more accurate estimates of the market, such as the relatively small amount of data previously measured against China. The company measures the user's share of the operating system by calculating the absolute number of visits to 40,000 of its clients ' operations. Although Windows 8 has more users than Vista after 10 months, it is still far below the number of users in the same period after Windows 7 was released. In the 10 months since Windows 7 was released in October 2009, the operating system accounted for a ratio of 17.3% to all Windows PCs, up to one times higher than Windows 8. Market research agency StatCounter did not give data that shows the proportion of Windows 8 users growing like NET applications. The company measured the operating system by its total page access to a large number of websites (more than 40,000), and said that the proportion of Windows 8 users grew by about 0.4% in August, accounting for 7% of all personal computer systems. It is not clear what causes net applications to have a significant increase in computing ratios. According to NET applications, Windows 8.1 represents about 0.3% of all Windows systems. Windows 8 has a different market environment than Vista and Windows 7, and the two operating systems are released at a time when PC shipments are growing, not falling. Both have not competed with the tablet for market share. Microsoft will release Windows 8.1 to current Windows 8 users on October 17, and the upgrade will be available on October 18.
