Content, content, or content!!!
Recently, the content has received more and more attention, this week was fortunate to participate in the SES meeting in New York, and published its own views on content marketing. We spend a lot of time on how to optimize and how to promote, but after a had, we finally return to the most important for online marketing
Elements: Content. The following is my content marketing has always adhered to the 3 principles, to share with you for reference.
1. Know your audience
The easiest way to find out what kind of content your audience likes most is to see which content has the most access, the number of shares, and the number of tweets.
If you're already authoring content and have spent time looking at what works and what doesn't, you might want to create a user profile.
The most important part of content authoring is creating user profiles that will help you refine your content strategy.
For example, you need to create content for 3 of people, and we'll call them Bob, Dan and Sherri for the time being.
bob--is younger and likes to interact; he loves to use Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, blogging, commenting and sharing photos.
Dan, a little older, likes to interact, but with less intensity, likes to read blogs (but not blogs) and comments with Google, LinkedIn (but not Facebook).
sherri--younger and interactive Rob; Bing is his preferred search engine, using Faacebook (no LinkedIn account), blogging, sharing photos and videos.
Once you have a closer look at their hobbies, you can optimize the content strategy to better reach each type of crowd and deliver them the content they are most likely to share and interact with.
2. There is a content strategy
Once you understand your audience, the next thing to focus on is to develop a content strategy.
Most content strategies are based on non original content, but in any competitive market, new content must be created. First, follow your goals to outline content planning, such as giving users the knowledge to help them make their purchase decisions.
Then brainstorm, see if you can create content for those topics, categorize them, and configure each article with keyword phrases. Review the content of your plan to ensure that all key topics are covered and there are several types of content prototypes.
3. Analysis and refinement
As with other marketing, content marketing should also have a measurement standard to determine the content of success and better guide the future content creation.
So at the very least, you need to know which content has the highest access, the maximum number of shares and microblogging, and so on.
Finally, it is to search for what is unknown. For example, add "?" to the relevant search terms. Look at the questions people are asking, and then create the content, which will lead to more traffic.
