Brocade to promote IPV6 conversion through cloud optimized application delivery scheme

In Beijing, Brocade today released 12.3 versions of the ServerIron ADX series of devices, which will enable the Platform to act as a seamless gateway between existing IPV4 networks and IPv6 new networks. The gateway feature provides a practical way for brocade customers to adopt IPV6 technology, while supporting both IPV4 and IPV6 environments, providing seamless and uninterrupted migration strategies.

The 12.3 version also offers investment protection and unmatched simplicity--the two key customer requirements for brocade one--and enables customers to double the performance of their brocade ServerIron ADX platform with simple software upgrades.

Market research firm IDC says the current IPV4 has reached its limits due to the proliferation of Internet devices such as smartphones, mobile tablets, laptops and smart sensors.
