Private cloud computing is an attractive option for many companies that need to retain some type of it workload control and want to take advantage of the scalability and flexibility of the cloud computing environment. The extra cost of each component of cloud computing and the complexity of the migration process makes it important to decide which services are necessary and which are unnecessary. Cloud computing migration is not a small task, it may not be suitable for all companies, but if handled properly, its benefits would be huge.
