Steve Lee: I don't know the exact source of that article, but it's a really exciting manifesto, because even with the software mentioned in the video, there are engineering, technical, and manufacturing problems. 3. How many times have you tried before building the glass prototype? Steve Lee: It's mainly about how you define a prototype, trying to be about dozens of to hundreds of of this range, more precisely hundreds of definitions of changes and dozens of prototype changes. Because this is a new Google hardware attempt, although Google lacks manufacturing experience, but no one in the world has a wealth of glass manufacturing experience, so we have confidence. Steve Lee4. Can you describe the details of your early attempts? Steve Lee: We're on a laptop every day, on time to the lab and trying to implant computing power into the device. The version we've tried before is: pull a cable from your head to connect a control box, or pull a cable from your head to connect to the phone, and finally set the prototype. 5. Why glass not do any confidential work before it is published? Steve Lee: There are two main reasons: 1. We want to get more feedback before it is officially available; 2. The idea is now very bold and classic to me. 7. Is Project Glass inspired by science fiction? Steve Lee: I do have some sci-fi geeks on my team, but what I'm going to do is actually test those ideas. Because many science fiction and the plot of the movie is counter realistic, so consider: 1. Scientific and technological feasibility. 2. User acceptance and social acceptability. The key question is how you can get those images out of the picture, so in the long run, the inspiration comes from science fiction, but not in the short term.
