Beijing Time April 8 Noon news, according to foreign media reports, Intel will be the end of the second quarter for researchers to launch 48 nuclear test processor, to reshape the future of the chip industry. Sean Koehl, Intel's lab technology director, said in Wednesday that the number of processors was limited and would be Shawn Kerl for academic institutions. Since the chip is part of a research project, it may not be a commercial product, but some of these features are expected to be applied to future Intel processors. The processor is part of Intel's Advanced Research project, which aims to consolidate more cores within a single processor, enabling computing devices to have faster computing speeds. Christopher Anderson, an Intel laboratory engineer, says the 48-core processor is the same frequency as the Krisdorf Anderson (Atom) processor. Intel's latest move processor has a high energy efficiency, mainly for netbooks and small desktops, with a frequency of between 1.66GHz and 1.83GHz. Anderson says the 48-core processor uses a mesh structure that can dramatically improve performance when all the chips transmit data to one another. Adding a core to the processor can save energy and improve chip performance. The traditional way to improve the performance of the chip is to increase the frequency, but this will lead to increased heat and energy consumption. Intel and its competitor, AMD, last week launched their core number of server chips. Intel's Xeon 7500 and 6500 processors for the high-end server market contain 8 cores, while AMD's Hao long 6100 is paired with 12 cores. (Ding Macro)
