"Burn After reading" Photo-sharing service Snapchat founder Evan Spigger (Evan Spiegel) admitted at the trial that his Stanford classmate Frank Reginald Brown (Frank Reginald Brown) played a part in the creation of Snapchat.

This February, Brown sued Snapchat two founders Spiegel and Bobby Melfi (Bobby Murphy), saying they had stolen his ideas. In a recent trial, Spiegel admitted that Brown had played a role in Snapchat's creation, making Snapchat so successful today, the Daily Mail of London reported. Recently, Snapchat rejected Facebook's 3 billion dollar takeover offer.

Spiegel said it was Brown who first came up with the idea that the photos would disappear a few seconds after uploading. This is also the main function of Snapchat. Mr Brown has reportedly promised to hold a 20% per cent stake in Snapchat, but later claimed a 1/3 per cent stake. At present, Brown does not hold Snapchat stakes.

According to Brown's previous indictment, he had contacted Spiegel about Snapchat's ideas, which he said was worth millions of dollars. They also agreed verbally: to develop Snapchat together. Later, they found a technical partner, Murphy.

Brown served as chief marketing officer for the new company (CMO), Murphy as Chief Technical Officer (CTO), and Spiegel as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The product was originally named Picaboo, and Brown said he designed the app icon, which has been in use ever since.

But in the August 2011, the relationship between the three people plunged. Spiegel and Murphy no longer discuss product development plans with Brown, and changed the password so that Brown could not log in to the app. Finally, it was renamed Snapchat.
