Since the implementation of the program, we have been actively sharing our information on combating botnets with Internet service providers (ISPs) and the Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) around the world. Now, with Microsoft's vast cloud resources, we are able to share information about known botnet malware infections with ISPs and CERT in real time. Leveraging the new Windows Azure Network Threat Intelligence Analyzer (C-TIP), these organizations can better understand the latest situation of network threats and inform users more quickly and efficiently about potential security issues with their computers.
