From the configuration list, the maximum upgrade for the new Chromebook 13 is the addition of the 2.16GHz Intel Bay Trail N2830 processor and the faster 802.11AC Wi-Fi standard. The replacement of the processor is expected to increase the endurance of the device from the previous 9.5 hours (Haswell model) to 10.5 hours.
In addition, the new Chromebook 13 will also be equipped with 13.3-inch matte backlight (1366x768 resolution), 2GB inaccessible memory, 16GB solid-state drive, USB/HDMI interface and SD card slots.
