Recently, NEC announced the success of the new network technology OpenFlow applied to mobile networks, on the mobile network to achieve dynamic optimization path control. This is a major breakthrough for OpenFlow, which can only be applied to fixed networks. NEC has been engaged in global pioneering research and development for the next Generation network, and has cooperated with Stanford University by using the network between Japan and America to conduct validation experiments. The results of the research and development, is the application of OpenFlow on the basis of the original fixed network, can be fast, broadband mobile networks for efficient and flexible network management of basic technology. This technology will become the basic technology for mobile operators to reduce operation management cost and develop new mobile communication services. It is reported that the future NEC will also use OpenFlow, continue to develop integrated management of fixed-network, mobile network application management technology.
