New technology application of NEC propulsion OpenFlow

Recently, NEC announced the success of the new network technology OpenFlow applied to mobile networks, on the mobile network to achieve dynamic optimization path control.　　This is a major breakthrough for OpenFlow, which can only be applied to fixed networks. This technique can be used to collect multiple base stations using different mobile communication modes, to identify the position information, the electric field intensity, the usage of communication resources and the clutter state of mobile loop network to determine the best mobile communication path.　　The technology can dynamically switch multiple mobile communication modes in the communication base station and the mobile Loop network composed of network line switches and servers, so as to improve the service quality, and to realize energy saving and emission reduction by shutting down the power supply of the low load base station. NEC has been engaged in global pioneering research and development for the next Generation network, and has cooperated with Stanford University by using the network between Japan and America to conduct validation experiments. The results of the research and development, is the application of OpenFlow on the basis of the original fixed network, can be fast, broadband mobile networks for efficient and flexible network management of basic technology.
