The survey said 66% passengers would consider whether they would be able to surf the air network hardware provider Honeywell (Honeywell Aerospace), according to a survey, 66% of passengers in the choice of flights will be considered if they provide wireless network. In just a few years, WiFi from an airplane has become an essential service in the eyes of passengers. Passengers think it is a widely used technology, but in fact only a handful of aircraft in the world can provide wifi. A recent survey shows that passengers are not satisfied with WiFi and require faster speed. Honeywell surveyed 1045 American adults who had had wifi at least once in the past year from June 6 to June 19 this year. 66% said they would consider whether to provide wireless networks when choosing flights, while 22% per cent of respondents had spent more money on flights with wireless networks, and 17% had been switching from their original preferred airline to more companies with internet flights. Passengers not only expect a wireless network on the plane, but also the stability and speed of the request. In order to enjoy high-speed and stable wireless networks in flight, nearly half of the respondents were willing to give up other conveniences on their journeys, with 45% of respondents preferring to go through security checks, and 29% were even willing to sign their tickets, the survey showed. For airlines, they need to calculate costs. If they install a high-speed WiFi system, will passengers pay for it? Although 85% per cent of respondents wanted to use free wifi on most or all of their flights, the survey did not show how many of the 890-person respondents were willing to pay for WiFi. The installation of satellite wireless networks on airplanes is seen as an investment, and they will not act if the airline is unsure of the cost of recovery.
