Uber taxis cost NT $30 per kilometer and ordinary taxis are NT $20. Uber in Taipei are facing competition from taxi services such as Taiwan's Big Convoy (Taiwan Taxi). Taiwan's big teams are charged for standard taxi fares, and not only have their own smartphone apps, but they can also call cars or outlets convenience stores in the city.
