The technological driving force for the emergence and development of cloud computing

Absrtact: Cloud computing brings about the transformation and upgrade of I t industry. Not only the micro-economic entities have become the participants in the cloud computing industry chain, but governments also attach importance to the important change of the industry.

After all, the advent of cloud computing will trigger a worldwide redistribution of the IT industry, as the manufacturing revolution has led to a worldwide redistribution of labor. Countries around the world, especially emerging developing countries, should not miss out on this rare opportunity to upgrade their industrial structure. The importance and devotion of Governments to High-tech industries is an important impetus for the development of cloud computing.

At the technical level, the reason cloud computing is produced today is the result of six aspects, as shown in Figure 1.7.

The driving force of cloud computing

(1) The rapid development of chip and hardware technology, which makes the hardware capability soar and the cost drop sharply, makes it possible for the independent companies to concentrate considerable hardware capability to realize the scale benefit.
　　
(2) The maturity of virtualization technology makes these hardware resources can be effectively granular segmentation and management, in the form of services to provide hardware and software resources become possible.
　　
(3) The wide application of service-oriented architecture makes the Open Data model and communication standard more and more widely used by people, which provides a feasible scheme for the organization of resources and services in cloud.
　　
(4) The popularity of software as a service mode, the pattern of cloud computing delivering applications to end users in the form of service is accepted by more and more users.
　　
(5) The development of Internet technology, so that the bandwidth and reliability of the network has improved quality, so that cloud computing through the Internet to provide users with services possible.
　　
(6) The popularity and widespread acceptance of Web2.0 technology has changed the way people use the Internet and nurtured the use of cloud computing through innovative user experiences.
