Analysis on the present situation of rural education

Since the reform and development, China's economy has made considerable progress, but in this process, China's urban and rural disparity is also growing. In the reform and development, the slogan of "first-richest-led-rich" has not fully played its due role. The widening gap between urban and rural areas will inevitably affect the stability and harmony of society, so we must fully understand the widening gap between the urban and rural areas of serious social problems and start to solve it.

One of the important means to solve the widening gap between urban and rural areas is education, as an important tool of social stratum mobility, the importance of education is self-evident in the process of improving urban and rural structural contradictions. However, the lack and backwardness of rural education has seriously affected the motivation and enthusiasm of farmers ' children to rise, which causes education to play a full role in promoting rural development and narrowing the gap between urban and rural areas.

we must recognize that the current rural education, infrastructure is not perfect, farmers education awareness is weak, rural family education is absent, rural teachers are not stable quality, rural children drop out rate high and secondary vocational education development and relatively slow and so on. The serious shortage of investment in rural education is the direct cause of the backwardness of infrastructure construction. 1993 China issued the outline of education reform and development, the expenditure of national financial education funds - Century occupied GDP the ratio should reach 4% , but so far this goal has not been achieved, rural schools, the experimental fees, office fees and teachers pay are very small. For example, in the rural early childhood education stage, the rural kindergarten is difficult to have enough capital to purchase educational facilities, the city children often play building blocks, slide slides, piano instruments and art materials, rural children are very difficult to see not to use these to cultivate interest in developing intelligence, which has been lost from the starting line. and junior high school education is because of lack of laboratory investment funds, so that rural children can not feel the joy of learning and lost the motivation and conditions to explore knowledge. And because of the backwardness of rural economic development, farmers have to go out to earn money to subsidize household, so there is a phenomenon of left-behind children in rural areas, serious lack of family education. These children do not enjoy the warmth of the family at the age when they need the most parental care, which inevitably brings great harm to the children's growth and physical and mental development.

With the enlargement of university enrollment, the low employment rate of college students, the effect of realistic objective factors of poor employment treatment, the concept of peasants changed from "Reading to Changing Fate" to "useless". Farmers want their children to be admitted to college, and then they can find a decent job in town. However, due to the adjustment of China's economic structure, the problem of college students ' frictional unemployment has not been solved, coupled with the lack of sufficient social relations among rural college students, has become another factor of unemployment. And even if a job is found, college students ' employment wages sometimes do not reach migrant workers. Affected by this severe form of employment, the enthusiasm of farmers to send their children to school is greatly discounted.

In addition, the rural teachers are seriously inadequate, and age-old and unstable state. Rural teachers generally have low academic qualifications, after the new curriculum reform, due to lack of funding training, rural teachers ' educational concept and teaching ability do not meet the needs of the teaching situation further intensified. And the new excellent teachers do not want to outreach, do not want to go to rural schools to exercise, coupled with the rural education information is blocked, so rural children do not have access to an excellent education culture. Generation after generation of rural children's knowledge can not be updated with the development of the times, and thus can not be fully adapted to the current era of world view, values and outlook on life, which has exacerbated the difficulty of its fate change.

Reading uselessness and low peasants ' income are the root causes of the high dropout rate in rural areas. Peasants ' consciousness is not the change of ideology and superstructure brought by education, so the farmers ' expectation of education is pure and utilitarian is stronger. If education does not give immediate effect to the improvement of farmers ' life, the concept of peasants ' education will immediately slip to the level of school useless. In this case, the development of secondary vocational education which can obviously improve the employment environment has been relatively slow, which leaves an irreparable mess for rural education.

In short, there are many problems in rural education, the above list is only a major part of it. We must fully recognize the resistance to the development of rural education, take positive measures to improve the current rural education environment, let education give full play to promote the role of class flow, improve farmers ' living conditions, change the fate of farmers.
