DoNews July 8 (Reporter Zhou Qin Yan) Recently, China Telecom finalized the second batch of virtual carrier partners, HNA, Foxconn, Lenovo, Hisense, Ping An, Minsheng, SMI, Phoenix, Haier, millet and other 10 companies China Telecom Signs Mobile Resale Partnership Agreement.
Before the cooperation of the 16 companies were: China Di ICT, Music, Suning, Gome, Tencent, Ai ShiDE, Jingdong, Ali, the phone world, Chang Jie Tong (UF), latitude and longitude communications, Yangtze River era, sharing online, Langma information.
Compared with the first batch of China Telecom virtual business partners, this batch of partners is more diversified and has joined hardware manufacturers, financial institutions and entertainment businesses.
However, at present the above ten companies are waiting for the approval of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce license application. So far, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has issued a pilot license for virtual operation to 19 enterprises in two batches. In July and August, MIIT will issue the third batch of virtual operation licenses.
According to statistics, a total of more than 200 enterprises have applied for the licenses of virtual operators to the three basic operators, of which 31 have passed the first instance of China Unicom and China Telecom. Private companies developing virtual operator business during the pilot phase in late 2015 must apply for a virtual operator license by July 1 and have now expired. (Finish)
