Epic Vice President: 3DS cannot use Unreal engine to temporarily not develop software

In an interview with the recent GCD World Games Developers Conference, Joystiq's journalist and Mr. Mark Shaun, vice president of Epic Games, talked about the development of the handheld game. Because Epic has just shown them a technical demo of Apple's iOS, the effect is striking, and the reporter asked Mr. Shaun whether they were giving the current 3Ds development software. Shaun's answer was very simply: "No." From the current situation, it does not reach our minimum hardware requirements. We haven't got 3DS yet because we can't confirm that all the data we have at the moment makes us believe that it is below our minimum hardware requirements. As I said, we don't have enough evidence to make a formal statement, but I think they should have contacted us if they thought (3DS) could run our engine.
