Ingress: A virtual reality game based on geography

Niantic Labs is a development team from within Google, and the only work they've ever launched was field trip, a Google Now based virtual software. Just a few days ago, the team finally released its latest work, Ingress, a virtual reality game in which the player's mission was to collect virtual energy in some parts of the real world. There are two opposing forces in the game, like the league and tribe in Wow. The story of the game takes place in the future, people discover a kind of new energy, can control human's thought. Some people want to have this ability, while others want the world to keep its original order, although two forces are not right or wrong, but apparently they are enemies. Ingress game screen Ingress game screen players have to choose a force to join, to different locations to collect energy, most of these places are landmarks or public places. There are a lot of upgrade options in the game, and you'll find that teamwork is more effective than acting alone.
