The study shows that Tetris is good for treating traumatic sequelae of the local network (compiled/wendy) overseas media news, according to a new study by Oxford University, the classic game Tetris can help reduce the impact of traumatic sequelae. The study, which consisted of two experiments, allowed participants to recall the injuries and deaths of the film, which included surgery, major traffic accidents and 21 minutes. In the first experiment, 30 minutes after watching the video, 20 participants played Tetris for 10 minutes, while another 20 participants played pub quiz (intelligence games) for 10 minutes, and 20 people did nothing. In the following week, the participants recorded memories of the film, and the study found that those who played Tetris were less likely to recall unpleasant images than those who sat quietly, but the pub quiz had little effect. The second Test, after 4 hours of watching the video, was exactly the same. The researchers speculate that Tetris is based on images, and pub quiz is based on text, the brain processes images and forms traumatic memory channels may be the same, so the game can interfere with the formation of traumatic memory; The text decryption game emphasizes context, so the game process enhances the traumatic memory. The study says Tetris can be used as a treatment option for post-traumatic stress disorder, because the current two main treatments for the disease-drugs and counseling-sometimes do not work or make things worse. The inventor of Tetris, Alexey Pajitnov, published his own opinion on the study, "Tetris is especially because it occupies a person's intelligence, the effect is very mysterious, playing Tetris after the player's feeling will be very good, feeling like done something, This is the positive effect of Tetris effect. "We have always believed that Tetris is good for players," Henk Rogers, who transplanted Tetris to the game's mainframe, added: "The game is 26 years old." As early as last year, scientists at Oxford University, Emily Holmes, had done similar research that showed the positive effects of Tetris on post-traumatic stress disorder, but the experiment had only a small number of volunteers, a very short film, and did not include pub quiz.
