The international situation Yellow Book: The United States, Japan and Germany comprehensive national strength of the three China

The international situation Yellow Book has carried on the analysis appraisal to 11 countries ' comprehensive national strength, the evaluation index system includes five direct elements of territory and natural resources, population, economy, military, science and technology, as well as four factors affecting social development, sustainability, security and domestic politics, and international contributions.　　The ranking of comprehensive national strength in 11 countries is: USA, Japan, Germany, Canada, France, Russia, China, UK, India, Italy, Brazil. The Yellow Book points out that the United States, as a superpower, has a multifaceted advantage, compared with other countries, not a grade. In addition to its low scores on social development, sustainability and security and domestic politics, the United States is at the forefront of other projects. Among them, the economy, military, science and technology and international contribution are all ranked first, resources in the second place.　　In particular, U.S. military strength, if the assessment of its advanced level, then the lead is even greater. Japan, as the second most-ranked country, has the highest number of other projects in addition to its territory and resources, its population and its low military strength.　　Since the assessment of military strength in the present report has only been calculated on the basis of a quantity of indicators without taking into account the qualitative factors, Japan's military position should in fact be higher than the current rank in the case of a typical, less-than-good character. Russia and China ranked in the middle of the sixth, seven, because most of the evaluation of the project to separate downstream. Russia's forte is territory and resources, China's forte is the population. Russia and China are ranked third and second militarily, mainly because of the large number of troops, the number of equipment, and military expenditure can be in the upstream. Overall, however, the modernization of military equipment (especially conventional weapons) in both countries lags behind that of western developed countries and is far from the United States.
