Two departments approved to set up game standard Working Group

BEIJING, November 22 (Xinhua) The National Information Technology Standardization Technical Committee announced 22nd that China will set up a game standard working group in December to organize and formulate national and industry standards related to the game industry in an orderly manner, and to ensure the universality, scientificity and fairness of the standard formulation. The secretariat unit of the Game Standards Working Group the head of China Institute of Electronic Standardization said the team will study the development of Game classification and coding, Game Quality Evaluation Index system and other basic standards.　　At the same time, focus on the development of game consoles country, industry standards, and carry out network games, mobile games, web games and animation and other fields of national and industry standardization research work. Game industry is an important part of information service industry, and it is one of the most vigorous and hot fields in information industries. At present, to guide, support and standardize the development of the game industry has become one of the important tasks of the Ministry of Information Industry in China, and standards as an important carrier of the implementation of industry management and guidance, play an important role in the process of promoting the development of the game industry. In view of this, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Ministry of Culture jointly approved the establishment of game standards Working Group.
