China needs to shift from foreign trade power to foreign trade power

Mr. Zhong said China's trade surplus came mainly from processing trade, which accounted for a large proportion of total foreign trade, while trade in services was below the global average. Mr. Zhong said China must seek a balance of trade and import and export in the next step.　　Do strong general trade, enhance processing trade, develop other forms of trade. As one of the three major drivers of economic growth, foreign trade has played an important role in promoting China's economic growth, promoting employment, promoting industrial upgrading and easing the constraints on national economic development, Mr. Zhong said.　　For example, the total number of Chinese foreign trade is more than 100 million, the annual import of agricultural products equivalent to 500 million acres of land production capacity, and through the introduction of foreign trade advanced technology and equipment and management has greatly improved the level of Chinese productivity. As for the main problems of China's foreign trade, Mr. Zhong believes that there are still some drawbacks such as extensive, winning by quantity and unbalanced development.　　He summed up the problem into three aspects: first, the value-added of export goods low, high-tech content is low, the proportion of independent brands is low; second, the ability of international bargaining pricing is weak; third, the foreign trade business model is backward, not to establish a perfect marketing network, E-commerce is not fully utilized. Mr. Zhong suggested that to achieve the goal of the powerful foreign trade, we should improve the international competitiveness of China's export commodities, improve the ability of Chinese enterprises to participate in the international division of labor, improve the bargaining power of our enterprises, the ability of pricing and the coordination of intermediary organizations, and optimize the structure of foreign trade enterprises Finally, the coordination of export and import, the combination of goods trade and service trade, the coordinated development of various ownership bodies, the coordinated development of foreign trade and domestic business, and the coordinated development of East and Midwest.
