Foreign technical trade measures cost China 50.5 billion of dollars in exports

Surveys show that the technical trade measures affecting the export of China's industrial products are mainly: the limits of toxic and harmful substances, technical standards, certification requirements, packaging and materials requirements, product safety requirements, environmental protection requirements, etc. the types of technical trade measures affecting the export of agricultural products and foodstuffs in China are mainly as follows: requirements for veterinary drug residues　　, food additive requirements, heavy metals and other harmful substances limit requirements, bacteria and other health indicators requirements, as well as processing plants, warehouse registration requirements.　　The survey also shows that the technical trade measures are considered to be the main obstacles to the export of enterprises after the exchange rate, continue to be highly concerned by enterprises, export enterprises in response to foreign technical trade measures in the general performance of more positive and active.　　AQSIQ will, in conjunction with the National Joint Ministerial Conference on Technical trade measures, on the basis of careful study of the findings, actively develop solutions to support the export enterprises to do a good job, to minimize the impact of relevant measures on China's exports. "Technical trade measures" are the general designation of technical regulations, standards, conformity assessment procedures, animal and plant inspection and quarantine and food safety measures adopted by WTO members to achieve the legitimate objectives of protecting safety, health, environmental protection and anti-fraud.
