Anyone who does SEO knows that links are important for rankings and indexes, especially for Google. But now it's not a viable strategy to get search traffic by ranking those common keywords (especially for small businesses), and if you look at the top-ranked ranges, you can find those links from those rankings.
My last column is used to see how you can increase your external links. Regularly check your links, record numbers, and map out how they have increased over time, which is a very important step in controlling links. However, the most important thing is not to imagine as usual, but to do something to change them. In other words, you need to create links, lots of links.
How much is "many"?
In the process of business activities, it is good to have a clear goal in mind before the project starts (it is also available on paper). Even if you are your own boss, realistic, short-term goals, or even larger goals, really help improve your career. But you can't just dream, do you have to create something substantial for your link building?
Obviously, when it comes to links, "many" will become "almost nothing" for others. All this depends on the niche and his competitiveness. But luckily for us, we can easily come up with some practical ideas for our own website.
In my last column, we looked at three different tools for calculating the chain: Google Webmaster tools (Google Webmaster tool), open Site Explorer (open Source Explorer) and Majestic SEO. Each one gives a different data, because of the randomness of the site index, every data has the wrong place. However, if you have sharp eyes, you will find a very important detail--and another version of Webmaster tools that can be used to check out your competitor's chain and your own chain.
Monitor your competitor's links
Analyzing your competitor's links is an important part of SEO, but now we just want to focus on the number of two o'clock-dead chains and your competitor's outside chain. This data will help you customize your goals for yourself.
But before you start, you need to find out which competitor you are in first place. It's important to differentiate between your search opponents and your "real life" opponents (maybe sometimes they are the same). All we need to do is simply focus on the site where your target keywords are ranked.
Because these sites take up the position you want, this is the most important thing now. These are not important if they are not your real competitors in real life (although the results of your keyword rankings are manipulated by a different site rather than your own), this may give you some insight. Similarly, if the first keyword ranking is dominated by Wikipedia and Amazon, and so on, you might think again (or find a lower position), because those types of sites are basically impossible to run on.
Once you have a list of your competitors, simply cram each site into your chosen link checker (Open site Explorer, Majestic SEO or Yahoo!, of course, before they fail) and get the data. The sites with the most stable links and the most link domains are clearly our competitors. Only verbally said that "to build more outside the chain" should be translated into a specific, feasible high number, this is the real SEO.
Some advice
Obviously, for highly competitive sites, linked data can be very high (dozens of or millions of links) and your operational goals seem to be extremely difficult. What's more practical is to start with a more realistic goal, to finish it, and then build up your confidence and set a higher goal with your progress next time.
Another important point: this data provides you with the most original, most advanced overview of the bracelet. In the long run, not all links are equal, at least so far, which may mean more in-depth research and analysis of a link map of a website. A website may have more external chains than another site with a high quality chain. So defeating them in numbers doesn't mean defeating them in the rankings, but setting goals is important.
