June 1, 2009, French Airways flight NO. 447, from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to Paris, France, crashed in the Atlantic after a stall, killing 216 passengers and 12 crew members. The cause of the crash was that the ice blocked the aircraft's leather tube, causing it to produce incorrect airspeed readings, incorrect computer controls and crew members until it was too late to take action!
