Since the implementation of the "Science and Technology Communication Campaign" by the Chinese Association of Scientific and Technological sciences, a great achievement has been achieved in the process of popularizing science knowledge, disseminating scientific methods, propagating scientific ideas and promoting scientific spirit in the young people, so that more and more young people are joining in this far-reaching activity. At the same time, the "Science and Technology Communications Initiative" has also received more and more scientific and technological workers ' positive response and participation, and has made a great contribution to the youth science and technology activities.
In order to further encourage and strengthen the communication between the science and technology workers and adolescents, and promote the continuous improvement of the scientific and technological quality of the young people, the Chinese Association for Science and Technology in 2000 launched a "big hand to meet the new century" activities in the national youth. The campaign will strive to create a climate of scientific education and access to scientists in the young, so that they can gain the guidance of scientists in their spare time to participate in certain scientific activities. The campaign has been enthusiastically supported by scientists who are willing to help young people by stretching out their "big hands" to help young people explore the mysteries of science and help them overcome difficulties in learning. In the activity, the scientist is not only the young person studies the science the teacher, is also the youth explores the life the friend, is the youth strives for the good example.
