Project Tango Device Developer version shipped later this year

At today's I/O conference, Google's "Moon Scout" team demonstrated two projects in Project Tango and Project Ara, respectively. Tango's director, Johnny Lee, said the tango mobile phones and tablets with 3D features were among the most "mature" projects, because these "Scout moon" teams usually do something cool and unprecedented. The developer version of the device will be shipped later this year, and interestingly, it will be priced at $1024 to launch a consumer version with LG next year.

Project director Paul Eremenko, who projects Ara, talks about the early module mobile phone project, where project Ara phone70% space is now occupied by the "inside Bones" of the phone, leaving only 30% of the rest of the spare parts to the next version, and Eremenko wants future indirect costs to be controlled by 10%. From the concept to the physical model, Ara spent 6 months, Ara today's performance is "almost to start the Android main screen", the visual start time will take 1 minutes, for a prototype performance is good.
