The level of the domain name

The domain name is divided into top layer (top-level), second (second-level) subdomain (sub-domain) and so on.
The top layer is divided into several types, namely:
. COM commercial establishments or companies
. ORG non-profit organizations, groups
. GOV Government Department
. EDU Education Sector
. Mil Military Department
. NET organizations or companies involved in Internet-related network services
. XX consists of two letters of country code, such as China. CN, Japan for. JP such as generally large or international business companies or institutions do not use the country code.
This domain name without country code is also called International Domain name. In this case, the second level of the domain name is the characteristic part of an organization or company, such as IBM in IBM.com. For a domain name with country code, the feature portion representing an institution or company is the third tier, such as ABC in ABC.COM.CN.
