There are many legends in Silicon Valley, where genius, desire, ideals and wealth are gathered. Some companies experience in a few short years has become a field of the big crocodile, there are companies such as meteors in a few years to disappear, is really "its Xing also Bo Yan, its death also suddenly Yan." Here http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/7814.html "> stand out as heroes of Silicon Valley, what they do really affect the world, the former hero of Silicon Valley has jobs, Bill. Gates, now with Mark Zuckerberg, Dorsey and so on.

We have to mention Marc 863.html ">andreessen, he is a very visionary person, he is the first to let the world know the browser this thing, let people appreciate the good network." Without him, the internet industry cannot prosper as it is now. This is the second of a series of articles focused on his first venture, the creation of Netscape to develop the same landmark browser Netsacpe Navigator, and the creation of the web world to the Deep Impact of Web scripting language JavaScript, And then the first browser war with Microsoft story.

After successfully developing "the world's first popular browser", Marc Andreessen with Jam Clark to create Mosaic Communications Corporation, a company focused on developing browsers. The company later underwent two renaming, eventually called Netscape Communications. In the browser's history, Netscape has played an important role, it has developed the most popular browser, and Microsoft's IE, the "first browser war", but failed. However, its impact on the network is real.

Netscape Communications released its first product Mosaic Netsape version 0.9 in 1994. Although the name contains Mosaic, the browser is a redesigned product and does not use a single line of Mosaic code because MARC does not want to argue with NCSA about the ownership of the product in the coming days. Soon Mosaic Netsape renamed Netscape Navigator.

However, Netscape Navigator 0.9 only has the ability to browse the Web and not interact with the Web page. For example, there is a form on the Web page, users need to fill out their own names, then the browser can not know whether the user really filled out the user name, but need to send information to the server to determine-if the user did not fill out, can only wait for the server to return the error message-This is a waste of server resources and user time. So, inside Netscape, including Marc Andreessen, Tom Paquin, Michael Toy, and Rick Schell all thought Netscape Navigator should integrate a Web scripting language so that browsers and Web pages Interaction。 After some consideration, finally, Netscape decided to invent a new language, embedded in the Web page, to allow the browser to interact with the Web page.

As Sun trumpeted Java, saying it could "write and run everywhere," and let Netscape move, the entire management of the company became a believer in Java, determined to federate with Sun, allowing Java programs to run directly in the browser in the form of applets, and to consider directly Embed Java as a scripting language in a Web page, however, this makes the Web page too complex and has to be discarded. In May 1995, Netscape made the decision that the scripting language of the future must "look like Java enough", but simpler and easier to get started than Java. So the company let Brendan Eich to design a Web script language-this is JavaScript. After the language was invented, Netscape and Sun put it together on the market. What did Marc think then?

We know that users need to leave some processing on the computer, so we invented JavaScript. Moreover, we also catalyze Java to allow more complex applications on the web by enabling browsers to support Java. Perform certain operations on the device, but the user wants to control it through the server application. The whole process is not visible. This basic idea remains until today.
